Also, Dr. Ragini Mishra, an epidemiologist associated with State Health Society-Bihar claimed that another patient was tested positive for the disease.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Likewise, on Wednesday two more patients were tested positive for dengue. As a result, the number of dengue patients has increased to nine, including seven migrants. A man from Bihari Sao Lane near PMCH was detected with dengue. The other victim lives at Fatuha in Patna district.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Dr. Mishra, dengue patients suffer from fever and <a href=\"https:\/\/gomedii.com\/blogs\/english\/diseases-prevention\/6-best-technique-for-shoulder-pain-relief\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">joint pain<\/a> and have rashes on their bodies. She also said that \u201cIn severe cases, there is hemorrhagic fever and platelets fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Anil Kumar Jaiswal head of PMCH pediatric department quoted, in case of chikungunya, pain is unbearable. Also \u201cIn common language, chikungunya is called bone-breaking fever,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Jaiswal advised people not to get panicked. He said \u201cChikungunya is rare in Bihar and in case of dengue, 90% people get cured themselves. Since there is no vaccination, one should take precautions. They should use mosquito repellent, wear full-sleeve clothes and avoid the <a href=\"https:\/\/gomedii.com\/blogs\/english\/health-care\/increase-daily-water-intake-summer-is-coming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">storage of water<\/a>. Although dengue has reared its ugly heads in the state but fogging is yet to be carried out by the PMC in several localities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, Satish Shrivastava, a retired government official, and resident of Ramnagri in the city said fogging was not carried out in the locality this time. He said \u201cPMC officials select VIP areas to do fogging.
