New Delhi: Subsequent to the meeting with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Sunday, resident doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences<\/a> (AIIMS) have called off their strike in protest against the National Medical Commission (NMC). From Monday onwards the doctors will resume their work.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n (People Also Like To Read: <\/strong>National Medical Commission Bill Passes Rajya Sabha Test<\/a>)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a tweet, Harsh Vardhan said, “Met the delegation of resident doctors association from AIIMS and Safdarjung hospital<\/a>. Cleared their misconceptions about the NMC bill. I have full faith that doctors will call off the strike and resume work in the interest of the patients.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n As due to the four days strike of doctors opposing the NMc bill, Monday will be a heavy rush day for OPD, the AIIMS doctors resuming work would be a boon.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Where Safdarjung RDA is yet to take a call on whether they would call it off or will continue the same. A meeting at the Indian Medical Association<\/a> (IMA) is currently underway.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
