The health sector budget allocation saw an increment of Rs. 6,341 crores; which was Rs. 62,659.12 crores last year.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n She also added the budget suggests attaching a medical college to a district hospital in Public-private partnership (PPP) as there is a shortage of qualified medical doctors; both general practitioners and specialists.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Nutrition Sector allocated with Rs. 35,600 crores for nutrition-related programmes in 2020-21. The budget for the National Nutrition Mission or POSHAN Abhiyaan<\/strong><\/em><\/a> saw the increment of Rs. 3,400 crore in 2019-20 to Rs. 3,700 in 2020-21. Where the National Nutrition Mission or POSHAN Abhiyaan look at bring down malnutrition rate in India.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The FM announced Rs. 28,600 crores for programs that are specific to women.
