This year, winter was quite warm in Delhi, covering the way for an early summer. This means that mosquito-borne deadly diseases such as dengue and chikungunya will strike earlier than usual in Delhi.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Several experts say that although the situation is not alarming yet, the major concerns are mosquitoes’ breeding and spreading of the diseases which have started by now as the weather is not set to change.<\/p>\n

There were no cases reported till January 13, 2018, but then till March 3, 2018, but hospitals under South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) reported 15 cases of dengue, which is 5 more than last year in the same time period.<\/p>\n

Last year, out of 9,271 victims in Delhi, 10 died of dengue.<\/p>\n
