Despite improved access to\u00a0treatment\u00a0in several regions of the world, AIDS continues to claim an estimated 2 million lives each year. Around 270,000 of these victims are children.<\/p>\n
This year we focus on the theme\u00a0“Right to health,” which the World Health Organization (WHO) has designed to highlight the need for all 36.7 million people living with HIV and all those who are vulnerable and affected by the epidemic. According to the World Factbook, with 2.1 million, India has the highest number of people living with AIDS. This makes it all the more necessary for all of us to support the cause.<\/p>\n
As a responsible healthcare service provider, GoMedii feels that all of us should spend some time for all those who are directly or indirectly affected by the disease. - Spread awareness about Anti-retroviral therapy (ART)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
