Sushma Swaraj Passes Away at 67, Through Cardiac Arrest

Life is extremely unpredictable, we do not know what tomorrow holds for us. It was only yesterday that the BJP stalwart Sushma Swaraj was seen celebrating the historic victory of her part, and today we mourn on her sudden death at an early age of 67. While the country is paying adieu to its former and one of the most successful Foreign Minister, we bring major health issues concerning Sushma Swaraj’s death.

One of the youngest ministers in the country, the former BJP member was also gripped with many health issues. Sushma Swaraj suffered from chronic conditions like diabetes and heart diseases. It was due to a cardiac arrest, that India lost a fine political figure. Sushma Swaraj’s death is also an indication that one has to take care of oneself and dear ones at an early stage to not suffer from loses.

Control Your Blood Pressure:

 

Blood pressure control is a must so that the arteries are not ruptured or blocked with plaque formation.

 

Keep Your Cholesterol and Triglyceride Levels Under Control:

Stay at a Healthy Weight:

 

A healthy weight supplements to good heart health. The body hormones and enzyme are in control and balance with good body weight.

Limiting junk and fat-filled food has always been on the top when heart diseases are to be prevented. The increase in calories leads to obesity which has a direct impact on our heart.

 

Get Regular Exercise:

 

Regular exercise improves blood circulation and this helps to keep your heart in good health. It gives strength to the heart.

 

 

Manage Stress:

 

Stress is linked to heart disease in many ways. It can raise your blood pressure. Taking too much stress increases the risk of heart attacks.

 

 

Manage Diabetes:

 

Having diabetes doubles your risk of diabetic heart disease. This is for a fact because, over time, high blood sugar from diabetes can damage your blood vessels and the nerves that control your heart.

 

This brings us to the second major aspect of Sushma Swaraj’s death. She had also suffered from diabetes which led to kidney failure and the former BJP stalwart had to go under a Kidney Transplant. While her doctors consulted her to do so to avoid infection, Swaraj did not take any chance.

 

Here are some ways to prevent Kidney failure:

 

Follow a low-salt, low-fat diet:

 

High sodium intake leads to difficulty in the process of removing toxins from the body which is a major function of the kidneys.

 

Exercise:

 

To keep your blood circulation and various other aspects under control, a 30 min exercise routine is a must.

 

Have Regular Check-ups:

 

Make sure you regularly consult a doctor in case you are diabetic or even for a general reason for keeping yourself fit.

 

Avoid Substance Abuse:

 

Drinking alcohol and smoking is a big NO when the individual is suffering from diabetes and Kidney complication.

 

Sushma Swaraj’s death brings an end to a beautiful chapter in Indian politics. At the same time, it is an alarm set to all those who do not take care of their health and ignore major complexities that might come their way.
