Some Interesting Facts About Homoeopathy:
Homeopathy is the practice of medicine that includes a holistic, natural approach to the treatment of the sick. It treats the person as a whole, rather than only focusing on a diseased part or a labeled sickness.
The term “homeopathy” was invented by Hahnemann and first appeared in print in the year 1807. It comes from the Greek words homeo which means similar, and pathos which means suffering or disease.
Homeopathy achieved its greatest popularity in the 19th century and was introduced to the United States in 1825 by Hahnemann’s student Hans Birch Gram.
Homeopathy uses the plant, animal, mineral, and synthetic substances in its preparations.
Currently, Homoeopathy is practiced in more than 80 countries in the different form.
In India, homeopathy is recognized and integrated into the national health care delivery system.
The Government of India has established the Ministry of AYUSH to give focused attention to the growth and development of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha/Sowa Rigpa, and Homoeopathy.
Homeopathic remedies are regulated as medicines or drugs under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA).
It is being claimed that Homeopathic medicines are non-addictive and as well as have no toxic side-effects.

How World Homeopathy Day 2018 will Celebrate in India:
On this day, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, is conducting a 2-day National Convention on ‘World Homoeopathy Day’ from 10-11 April 2018 with the theme “Innovate. Evolve. Progress. Exploring Science since 40 years.”
The theme is described as we are living in the world where novelty, modernity, and dynamism have become the keywords to survive. Health is no different.
The concepts and understanding towards health are changing fast with the growth and development of new techniques that are emerging and overshadowing the old ones. A decade-old concept is too old and dated, even before you realize!
However, in this modern and fast-changing health scenario, Homoeopathy, is still well-accepted by all. Its user base is growing day by day with every passing decade, and that cannot be only due to the world looking at alternative medicine with renewed interest.
