Some news highlights that the blood was contaminated with HIV (AIDS).

First of all, I would like to say that the news is 100% false plus the big company like Cadbury will always take care of products as well as its employee especially working on the production line. The problem is not with the company or the employee, but the problem is we who believes these fake news before a well-proved evidence.

What is HIV?
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
This virus infects human beings through attacking the person’s immune system (a system that defense against infections, such as viruses and bacteria). The virus is a type of germ which is too small to be seen even under a microscope.
White blood cells are the important component of the immune system. HIV infects destroys certain white blood cells mainly known as CD4+ cells. If more CD4+ cells are destroyed, the body can no longer protect itself against infection and hence will have a low immune system.

HIV infection is caused by the virus. A person gets HIV from contact with infected semen, blood, or vaginal fluids. Other causes of HIV infection include;

There are several symptoms of HIV infections including;

- Muscle aches and joint pain.
- Swollen glands (swollen lymph nodes).
- Skin rash.
How are HIV Treated?
There has a standard treatment for HIV infection.
For the treatment, there has a combination of medicines called antiretroviral therapy (ART). Antiretroviral medicines help in slowing the rate at which the virus multiplies.
