This happened with our Srey too. She had to wait and also take a much longer route to come to India. Yet, we made sure that all this trouble is paid off. Medical treatment with GoMedii in India is like a dear friend, we won’t let you give up.
What did our patient fly to India for? Seng Srey was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst of 30mm. She was sure that she would get the desired treatment in India, and with help of GoMedii, we can say that she indeed did get through.
The travel and the journey to India
Mrs. Srey, 53yrs old female traveled on the Medical visa that she got after the VIL was sent from Fortis hospital to her. It helped her get the clearance and the GoMedii team was here to assist her. Advika Sharma, our relationship manager took the case on her charge and assured our patient that nothing will be left unturned to help her with the treatment.
We are glad to mention that Mrs. Sharma indeed has become a favorite of Mrs. Srey as both have developed a bond beyond business terms. This is the essence of being a patient at GoMedii, we do not treat our patients as prospects but as our guests who must get the best!
Our patient flew to Singapore, Singapore to Dubai then Dubai to New Delhi. After Reaching the hospital they had an appointment with one of our finest doctors at the Fortis Hospital. The doctor suggested a pre-surgical investigation. After reviewing the investigation and surgical clearance they decided to operate.

What is an Ovarian cyst?
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs or pockets in an ovary or on its surface. Women have two ovaries. Eggs, also known as Ova, which develop and mature in the ovaries, are released in monthly cycles during the childbearing years.
Many women have ovarian cysts at some time. Most ovarian cysts present little or no discomfort and are harmless. The majority disappears without treatment within a few months.
However, ovarian cysts can cause serious symptoms. To protect your health, get regular pelvic exams and know the symptoms that can signal a potentially serious problem.
What problems can be caused due to Ovarian cyst?
Some women develop less common types of cysts that a doctor finds during a pelvic exam. Cystic ovarian masses that develop after menopause might be cancerous. They can also lead to:
- Hormonal problems: These include taking the fertility drug clomiphene (Clomid), which is used to cause you to ovulate.
- Pregnancy: Sometimes, the cyst that forms when you ovulate stays on your ovary throughout your pregnancy.
- Endometriosis: This condition causes uterine endometrial cells to grow outside your uterus. Some of the tissue can attach to your ovary and form growth.
- A severe pelvic infection: If the infection spreads to the ovaries, it can cause cysts.
- A previous ovarian cyst: If you’ve had one, you’re likely to develop more.
