This is not to scare you, but we will tell you that damage can be reduced with some of the changes in lifestyle. These include little changes in the way you live, eat and take other things. Here are some suggestions and changes for Stage 1 Chronic Kidney Disease.

1) Never sacrifice on a healthy diet

A healthy diet can do wonders, that you might not even imagine. These include supporting your kidney in so many ways. While a balanced diet is what we would recommend, make sure you have the following points in mind

  • Choose a diet that is low in saturated fat and cholesterol and moderate in total fats.
  • Limit intake of refined and processed foods high in sugar and sodium.
  • Choose and prepare foods with less salt or high-sodium ingredients.

Exercise helps you maintain a good weight. This will keep you away from any illnesses. This will further help you to stay healthy and reduce the damage it does to your kidney.

3) Keep your blood sugar in control

We are sure you are told that diabetes and CKD are associated with each other. That is true. When your blood sugar level is rising then you face problems with your filtration process. This is the starting problem of stage 1 Chronic Kidney Disease.

You must keep in check of these pointers:

  • Keep their blood sugar or diabetes under control.
