Every year on the 21st of September, the World’s Alzheimer Day is observed around the world. This day is observed around the world to help the organization involved in the treatment and concern of the disease and their efforts on raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, a group of disorders that impairs mental functioning.

In the case of the statistics, it has been observed that every 65 seconds, someone develops Alzheimer’s disease. At this rate according to many experts, the number of people living with Alzheimer’s will quadruple to as many as 16 million by the year 2050.



Alzheimer’s disease is often called a family disease because of the chronic stress of watching a loved one slowly decline affects everyone. Imagine losing a member while they are alive due to a disease that wipes you out of their memories! Alzheimer is hard to get through and even more difficult to live with.
