World Multiple Sclerosis Day 2020
The 2020-2022 World MS Day theme is ‘connections’. MS Connections is all about building community connection, self-connection, and connections to quality care. We are challenging social barriers that leave people affected by MS feeling lonely and socially isolated. Together, we advocate for better services, celebrate support networks, and champion self-care.
In 2009, the MSIF (Multiple Sclerosis International Federation) and its members began the first World MS Day. Together we have reached thousands of people around the world, with a campaign who are focusing on a different theme every year.
Multiple Sclerosis International Federation provides a toolkit of free resources to help everyone to take part in World MS Day. These tools can be used by anyone, or you can make your own, to make a positive change in the lives of around 2 million people across the world.

The effects of MS are usually different for different people who have the disease. Some people have mild symptoms and they don’t need any treatment for the same. Others will have problems getting around and doing their daily tasks.
Multiple Sclerosis or MS happens when your immune system attacks a fatty material which is known as myelin, it wraps around your nerve fibers to protect them. Without the outer shell of myelin, the nerves become damaged.
The nerve damage means your brain is not able to send signals through your body correctly. Your other nerves also don’t work the way it should and help you move and feel. Resulting, you may have symptoms like:
