Causes of Feeling Always Thirsty:

It is said that our body is around 60-70% of water, which is scientifically true. It would be disturbing to know that in such a case why are you feeling always thirsty? Well, these might be the causes:

1) Dehydration:

The first major reason for you feeling always thirsty is your body getting dehydrated. It does not mean that 60% of water dried up in your body, it means that the body needs more water after the amounts are used for body functions. A case of severe dehydration is life-threatening. The most vulnerable to it are for infants and young children. Dehydration can be caused by illness, profuse sweating, too much urine output, vomiting, or diarrhea.

2) Diabetes:

One of the most common reasons for feeling always thirsty might be sugar high. Excessive thirst can be caused by high blood sugar. It’s often one of the first noticeable symptoms of this type of diabetes. Sugar in our body in case of diabetes is just sent through the body as urine. This results in the body having an urge to urinate all the time.

3) Diabetes Insipidus:

This form of diabetes occurs when your body can’t regulate fluids properly. Due to this reason, an imbalance and loss of water in your body are caused. This then is leading to excessive urination and thirst.

4) Kidney Failure:

When you suffer from Kidney failure you get the urge of drinking water. The lack of proper functioning of the kidney might be the reason for you feeling thirsty.

5) Anemia:

Anemia means your body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells. Some people are born with it, while others get it later in life. There are a lot of things that can cause it, including diseases, a poor diet, or heavy bleeding.

Feeling always thirsty might be ignored on the grounds that it is too common. The other reasons are very simple and understandable. Some of them may include, a really hot day or excess of sweating. This again is somewhere attached to the condition of dehydration. The treatment of it is mainly dependent on the things that are making you thirsty.
