Close the door: Make sure window and door screens are secure and free of holes. If sleeping areas are not screened or air-conditioned, use mosquito nets.




The infection is divided into 3 phases: Febrile, critical, and recovery. This phase involves high fever, over (104 °F), and is associated with generalized pain and a headache; this usually lasts 2-7 days. Nausea and vomiting may also start.
