According to a study appeared in the periodical “Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology” which reveals the link between depression and anxiety in people who sweat excessively.

What Happens When Depression Occur During Excessive Sweating?

Excessive sweating can lead to several problems and one of them is social withdrawal. If a person is worried about his/her sweating during daily activities, this can cause him/her to give up and stay home.


A person may lose interest in activities he/she once enjoyed. Plus, the person might feel guilty about avoiding these things as well as feels hopeless.


If the person has any type of these feelings for a long time, then the person might be experiencing depression in relation to hyperhidrosis.


When a person feels the sweating problem, then it is important to treat and address the problem so that the person can get back to the people and activities he/she love.





As there are no specific guidelines for the determination of the normal sweating, but if you or your loved one feel sweat too much and the sweating has started to interfere with your everyday daily life, then maybe you have hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating problem.
