As per the study, diabetes affects the age group of adults aged 45 to 64 is the most diagnosed age group for diabetes. In some cases both diabetes in people aged affected 18 years and older were distributed as follows: ages 18 to 44.

 

 

 

What are the Types of Diabetes?

 

 

There are three types of diabetes such as:

 

 

Type 1 Diabetes

 

It is also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes, It is a long term condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Insulin is a hormone needed to allow sugar (glucose) to enter cells to produce more energy to the body.

 

 

Type 2 Diabetes

 

This diabetes is a very common form of diabetes. If you already have type 2 diabetes it means your body does not use insulin properly. This is also known as insulin resistance when your pancreas makes extra insulin to make up for it.

 

 

Gestational Diabetes

 

Gestational diabetes is high blood sugar which develops during pregnancy and usually disappears after giving birth. It arises if the body cannot produce enough amount of insulin, a hormone which helps to control the blood sugar levels to meet the extra needs in pregnancy.

Which is the Most Common Diabetes?

 

 

The most common diabetes is type 2 diabetes. If you realize that you have type 2 diabetes then your body does not use insulin properly. This is called insulin resistance when your pancreas makes extra insulin to make up for it.

If insulin is not given for some time, blood sugar can rise to the point of causing diabetic ketoacidosis. This is a life-threatening condition which utterly happens much more frequently in type 1 than in type 2 diabetics. According to the research, about 60- 65% of the patients respond to high sugar intake as the cause of diabetes, they start experiencing loss of vision as its complication and diet control as the important measure of treatment of diabetes respectively. Only 40% of the people are aware of the name of the medicine which they consume.
